How are you doing? I hope you received my email a long time ago? I guess you're just too busy ;) Doesn't matter! :) I saw you did an update on your blog, I like it! But I'm still a little bit curious about the picture you made from me haha =D Maybe you can send it to me? I hope to hear from you!
I'm always curious about how people take these street fashion pictures. Did you actually stop them and ask if you could take a pic of them? How do they usually react? They all look nice in the pics, but have you ever run into any jerks?
hi, first of all, i try to trust my insticts...i'm approaching people who i have instant connections with, and so far it works the most of the time. the urge to take portraits of someone random has to come from the inside, like a flow... second, i act humble and approachable when i talk to someone, i will explain my intention and try to gain that person's trust, and some sincere compliments alwyas adds flair to the chat...cause i want my subject to have much fun as i do...it should be fun and relaxing, and i try to turn our encounter into that...of course, i have to be really open about it, instead of seeing it as 'awkward or unnatural'...those are beautiful encounters with beautiful people, i try to keep that on mind... i just walk straight to them and be candid. rejection rate is low and i haven't run into a jerk yet (instint works wonders)
